Best Presentation This is the big award. This is voted on by the actual individual presentation. of the item itself. It is based on how whatever you made looks and how you present it. It has to reflect the theme of the extravaganza.
Best Cookie This year we are making it a little more difficult as the best cookie should represent the holidays, taste and look good. The cookies need to be at least 2 1/2 inches if smaller make 2 dozen per package. Bar cookies are now considered in this category.
Best Other This is anything other than the cookie. Cupcakes are not allowed. Otherwise this category is up to your discretion. This can be candies, liquors, confections jewelry, cocoa, soap the list is fairly open. Yes, you can even do store bought but keep in mind it has to be high quality. Candy has to be one pound per package, liquors 16 oz, drink mixes powder form 2 cups, jellies and jams 2 jar minimum or 16 oz, no meringues.
Best Artisan This is a category that gives special attention that went out of their way to hand craft their own packaging. It is non-edible and needs to be created by hand.
To recap: No paper products, loose glitter, lit candles, helium balloons, cupcakes or meringue.
